These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StatSlam service and website, including any use of the TikTok API integration provided by StatSlam ("we", "our", "us"). By authorizing StatSlam via TikTok Login Kit or by visiting this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

StatSlam is an automated content publishing service that creates and publishes short-form sports statistics videos to TikTok and other social media platforms. The service uses the TikTok Content Posting API (Direct Post) to publish videos to the StatSlam-operated TikTok account (@statslam.tv) and any account that has explicitly authorized the application via TikTok Login Kit.

2. TikTok API Use

StatSlam integrates with TikTok's official developer APIs under the following terms:

StatSlam's use of TikTok APIs is governed by the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok Developer Platform Policy.

3. Content Ownership and Licensing

All videos produced by StatSlam are original motion graphics generated from publicly available sports statistics data (match scores, standings, rankings, and similar factual information). StatSlam does not use, reproduce, or distribute:

StatSlam is not an official partner of, nor affiliated with, any sports league, federation, team, or event organizer.

4. Accuracy and Disclaimers

Sports statistics are sourced from public data providers and are refreshed automatically. While we strive for accuracy, data may contain errors or may lag behind official sources. StatSlam makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any statistics or information published.

5. Automated Publishing

StatSlam operates an automated pipeline to generate and publish videos without manual review of each post. By authorizing the application, you acknowledge that videos may be published to your account automatically according to the pipeline's schedule. You may revoke authorization at any time to stop automated publishing (see Section 7).

You may revoke StatSlam's access to your TikTok account at any time by visiting your TikTok account settings under Privacy > Apps and websites and removing the StatSlam authorization. Upon revocation, we will cease all API activity on your account and delete your stored tokens within 30 days.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STATSLAM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY CONTENT PUBLISHED TO YOUR TIKTOK ACCOUNT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ZERO DOLLARS ($0), AS THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

9. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
