StatSlam ("we", "our", "us") operates an automated sports-highlights video publishing pipeline. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through TikTok's API, why we collect it, how we store it, and your rights regarding that information.

By authorizing StatSlam via TikTok Login Kit, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect via TikTok API

StatSlam requests the following TikTok API scopes when you authorize the application:

user.info.basic

We access the following fields from your TikTok account:

• Open ID — a unique identifier for your TikTok account within our application. We use this to associate your authorization token with the correct account.
• Avatar URL — your profile picture URL, used only to confirm which account has been authorized in our internal dashboard.
• Display Name — your TikTok display name, used only to confirm account identity in our internal dashboard.

We do not access follower lists, video history, comments, messages, or any other TikTok account data.

video.publish

We use this scope to publish auto-generated sports statistics videos directly to the authorized TikTok account via the Content Posting API (Direct Post). We do not read, download, or store any videos already on your account.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect data from TikTok viewers or followers of any account.
• We do not collect payment information.
• We do not collect location data.
• We do not access your TikTok direct messages, comments, or private interactions.
• We do not access accounts you have not explicitly authorized.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information obtained through the TikTok API is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate API requests and maintain the authorized publishing session for the StatSlam TikTok account.
• Confirm that the correct TikTok account is connected before publishing videos.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the publishing pipeline described above.

4. Data Storage and Security

OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok are stored on our private server with restricted file permissions (readable only by the publishing process). Tokens are never written to publicly accessible storage, shared with third parties, or transmitted outside our own infrastructure except as required to call TikTok's official API endpoints.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored tokens from unauthorized access.

5. Data Retention

OAuth tokens are retained for as long as the publishing pipeline requires them to operate. You may revoke access at any time (see Section 7). Upon revocation, we will delete your tokens from our system within 30 days.

6. Third-Party Services

StatSlam fetches sports statistics from the following public data providers. These requests contain only query parameters (league IDs, match IDs, dates) and do not include any personal or TikTok account data:

• football-data.org (football / soccer statistics)
• jolpica-f1 (Formula 1 statistics)
• Other publicly available sports data APIs

StatSlam uses TikTok's official API services, governed by TikTok's Privacy Policy.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights with respect to your information:

• Revoke access: You may disconnect StatSlam from your TikTok account at any time by visiting your TikTok account settings under Privacy > Apps and websites and removing StatSlam's authorization. This immediately prevents further API access.
• Access: You may request a description of what TikTok account data we hold by contacting us at the address below.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of any stored tokens or account information by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

StatSlam is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has authorized our application, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the authorized connection after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
